Selling With Duane Merrill and Co.

For first time consignors the auction process can seem daunting and confusing. Terms and conditions of sale differ greatly from auctioneer to auctioneer. We do our best to make the process as simple and straight forward as possible.

We offer free consultation for consignors. Our staff will gladly examine your things and offer auction estimates and advice. For smaller things we are available at our gallery in Williston VT Monday-Friday 9:00 am -4:00pm (A phone call ahead of time is advised).

For larger items or whole estates we will gladly travel to you at no cost. If you have questions about your antiques or would like to send photos for our consideration, we are also available by email at info@merrillsauction.com

Once you have decided to sell with us we offer a competitive flat rate commission based on the final hammer price. We have no additional charges of any kind for our consignors.

For items requiring it our staff will travel to your location to pick up your consignments. We can handle anything from single items to entire households and estates. Once the items are in our possession they are fully covered by our insurance.

With over 20 auctions a year we will put your items into the right sale to gather an appropriate buying crowd. We advertise on the local, regional, national and now on the international level.
